Job Summary

Reports to the Chief Executive Offier with matrix relationship to SVP-Chief Nursing Officer. Responsible for clinical provision of care, strategic leadership, and integrated operational performance for the assigned region.  Provides leadership for clinical and related nursing and patient care services, quality, safety, provider education, staff competency, and financial outcomes. Assumes a leadership role in annual and multi-year Clinical strategy development. Accountable, responsible, and final authority for nursing practice, care delivery, treatment and services within the region.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports..
Minimum Education

Master's degree in nursing or related field (e.g.- public health, healcare administration, business administration)

Minimum Experience

Seven (7) years experience as a registered nurse in acute care setting with at least five (5) years clinical management experience.

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses
RN - REGISTERED NURSE - NLRN
Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)

Certified Nurse Executive, preferred

Other Required Experience

Doctorate (PhD, DNP, Ed, or related degree), preferred

Magent experience, preferred
