Job Summary

Coordinates processing of employee and related HRIS data.  Audits, prepares and processes a variety of employment data and records including but not limited to employee personal data, salary, position changes, tax, banking, certifications, performance evaluations.  Researches complex issues and works independently with appropriate HR representative to resolve. Responds appropriately to requests for information from GHS management, employees and external agencies. Maintains physical security and confidentiality of personnel records as required by GHS policy and State and Federal regulations.  Serves as a resource regarding policies, procedures and guidelines to HR staff and management. Prepares scheduled and ad hoc reports. Prepares HRIS system for biweekly payroll processing.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

High School diploma equivalent

Minimum Experience

5 years - Processesing and auditing records experience in a large organization.

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses


Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)


In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree and one year of the above experience may substitute for the High School Diploma and 5 years experience.

Other Required Experience

Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, Access, Outlook - Required

Knowledge of HRIS/Payroll systems - Preferred
Infor Software and Crystal Reports knowledge - Preferred
