Job Summary

Coordinates the daily operations of the Staffing & Scheduling in assigned departments.  Collects staff availabilty information to schedule clinical staff and make staff assignments/schedules in order to produce quality schedules on units.  Creates and maintains reports and tracking logs relative to utilization of all staff.  Communicates with the nurse leaders and staff regarding assignments.  Performs Time and Attendance adjustments and approvals for assigned department. Maintains and monitors Level four and ESI contracts and overtime.  Assitsts the Nursing I/S Application Specialist with the development and implementation of the electronic scheduling system and is a resource for education and troubleshooting.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

3 years- Progressively complex office duties in fast paced environment
