Job Summary

Manages the revenue cycle (Percertification, Coding, Billing, and AR Follow-Up) for Rural Healthand other qualified health centers in support of the Prisma Health Upstate purpose statement. Develops internal departmental resources, utilizes practice admin support, and accesses Prisma Health corporate services as appropriate to maintain accountabilities for areas outlined below.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports..
Minimum Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

6 years - Hospital Admission, physician billing, or credit/collections with at least 2 years at the lead level

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma and 3 years as a supervisor in banking, finance, or medical insurance, preference given to candidates with experience in hospital admissions, physician billing, or credit/collections.

OR

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience at the lead level in hospital admissions, physician billing, or credit/collections.
